Kick-Off Power Play

Yesterday we attended the 2022-2023 Power Play season kick-off at the Avans Hogeschool in Breda.
It was nice to finally have an in-person kick-off event again, after 2 years of covid measures which meant we had to follow the kick-off online instead.

We arrived at 1 pm and set up our robot. We were asked by FTC Netherlands to show off last season’s robot to the new rookie teams this year, to give them a better insight into how a complete robot looks and works. We also got to talk to many teams, both old and new.

FTC Netherlands also organized various masterclasses, from learning to use SolidWorks to design your robot, to improving our imagery & branding and programming with Java. These were very useful for both old and new team members to learn new skills, which will be very helpful in the coming year!

The new season is called Power Play and is focused on the sustainable energy of the future.

The new challenge looks to be both very challenging and exciting. We can’t wait to get started making ideas and working on our robot for the new challenges.
